Bethany Brown is a Black female creator juggling 3 different professions in a single career.


In 2021, Bethany was nominated for a Leo Award for Best Supporting Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series for her work in the Imagine, a Nickelodeon production. She was also nominated for a Jessie Award in 2020 for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, for the role she played in Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar. It’s noteworthy to mention the Bethany featured in the popular TV series, The Flash and the movie, The Mountain between Us featuring Kate Winslet and Idris Elba, amongst others.

Bethany is a multipotentialite. She is a Canadian actor in TV and Film, voice actor in animation, spokesperson in commercial campaigns, singer, musician, a Master’s degree holder in Occupational Therapy from the faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She was formerly a semi-pro athlete in Simon Fraser University's football team before she suffered a foot injury that ended her football career. Bethany then sought to pursue performing arts further. She veered into directing as a culmination of the skills she had amassed over the years.
