'Ritual communal' - translated to 'community ritual' is an ode to our traditions, our way of life, the energy we exchange daily and a sense of community that never leaves us.
The shoot day was great and the whole team was very open and supportive of the vision we were trying to achieve. The message behind this particular project was to capture a sense community, beauty and stillness.
The whole team consisted of creatives of African and Caribbean heritage and we really embraced each others cultures and in turn wanted to empower each model to represent themselves and they culture as authentically as they could.
We want young creatives to create work that they want to see in the masses, to be the change in the industry and focus on building a community of like minded individuals that simply champion freedom of art expression.
