Nigerian Rapper BILS Unveils Brand New Project

Daniel Oshodi-Alogoa, also known as BILS (Built In Lagos State) is a Nigerian born and bred Afropop/Afro-Rap artist based between Lagos and the United States. Growing up and being greatly influenced by the likes of Fela Kuti, Tupac Shakur, Mystikal, and Kanye West, BILS discovered his love for music at the early age of 12, and by the age of 16, he began to write his music and create his beats.
With a few years in the industry under his belt, BILS has been nominated four times for the Nigerian Entertainment Award, performed at top festivals including SXSW, opened up for most of the top African musical acts at their concerts, and has landed a song with international Afrobeats artist Olamide.

In 2019, BILS released a 7-track EP titled Mans On The Move and it charted #1 on the iTunes US world charts. With a fusion of Afrobeats, 808s, soul-lifting melodies, and hard rap, BILS’ unique heartbeat rapping is sure to instil vibes and confidence. Mans On The Move is engaging, catchy, and sweet; likely to grab the attention of any music lover. It takes you out of Africa and plunges you into the heart of a Houston or London vibe and then back to Lagos.
Hot on the heels of his recently released single “Reconsider” featuring Ice Prince and Big Klef, Nigerian rapper BILS releases his highly-anticipated new EP BGNLT (BAD GUYS NEED LOVE TOO), a follow-up from his previous EP MANS ON THE MOVE, which peaked #1 on the US World iTunes charts.
