Lisa Folawiyo Studio debuts COLL 1 2022 at the 2021 Heineken Lagos Fashion Week.

In 2011, what may be considered one of Nigeria's largest fashion conventions was founded. Lagos Fashion Week (LFDW), which was formerly known as Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW), is a fashion meeting of like-minded experts, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts in the African fashion sector who have earned significant expertise and are prepared to share it with the rest of the world.

Last year was quite different, as the global pandemic compelled everyone to live in seclusion, with survival being the only lyrics on everyone's lips. It also pushed the organizers to look for new ways to re-strategize, making technology more useful in the sector than ever before. Digital fashion shows were born as a result. Yet, the organizers of LFW were unable to impose this because Nigeria was undergoing a difficult period, which was the ENDSARS protest.

It is clear that the organizers are eager to put on a show this year; on the 22nd of July, 2021, Lagos Fashion Week announced its comeback on October 27th – 30th, 2021 on its official Instagram account. This season's subject is sustainability and ethical living, which has been a hot concern in the fashion world, particularly since the Corona virus outbreak. Plans are being put in place as preparations continue for the Lagos Fashion Week, which is set to begin on October 27th, 2021.
