Gyakie Releases New Song "For My Baby" | Listen Now

Gykie, the Ghanaian singing sensation, released a new single For My Baby on Friday, July 1, as anticipation for her upcoming EP My Diary grows.

Gyakie's second single, For My Baby, will be released before the entirety of My Diary is released on July 22nd. She had previously shared a sultry video for Something, the project's lead single.

Gyakie's vocal is as alluring as ever on For My Baby, as she and producer Soji prove once more that when they collaborate, their synergy is usually flawless.

Gyakie has been quick to nurture new industry alliances, feature on songs, and break into new market territories since graduating from university in Kumasi (International Business).
 

At the 3Music Awards, Clout Music Awards, and VGMA, she won 'Woman of the Year,' 'Revelation of the Year,' and 'Best International Collaboration' (Forever Remix). She is also nominated for 'Best West African Act' at the 15th annual Headies Music Awards.

This September, the ceremony will be held outside of Nigeria for the first time, in Atlanta. Gyakie will perform alongside Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, and Stonebwoy at Germany's first Afrobeats festival on July 9th and 10th in Berlin and Brandenburg.
